01 — Design that tugs at the heart strings

Documentary poster design

A well-designed movie poster has the power to captivate audiences, evoke emotions, and convey the essence of a film in a single, impactful image.

Design Or Die was tasked with designing a series of posters for the documentary Trezoros: The Lost Jews of Kastoria, which premiered at the Laemmle Music Hall Theater in Los Angeles on November 29, 2016.

The film, gaining worldwide acclaim, uses never-before-seen archival footage and survivor interviews to vividly recount the history of the Jewish community in Kastoria, Greece, before World War II. Trezoros screened five times daily from November 25 to December 1, bringing the powerful story to life for LA audiences.

From Noise To Clarity

The brand book describes the building. The visual system is the building's structural code.
